What is Dermaplaning?
Dermaplaning is a 30-minute treatment that removes facial vellus hair (peach fuzz) and exfoliates the skin more effectively than a microdermabrasion treatment while revealing a brighter complexion with immediately noticeable results.
The painless technique is safe in the hands of a skilled and trained aesthetician who uses a sterile, surgical scalpel to gently “shave” the surface layers of the skin that include the peach fuzz and coarse superficial epidermis. The skin is not penetrated while excess dead skin layers are removed to reveal the soft and luxurious and healthy skin surface. If makeup is applied, you will notice a smoother application post-treatment. Please wait a minimum of 90 minutes after treatment before applying cosmetics to ensure a healthy glow.

Dermaplaning is excellent for all skin types and helps diminish sun damage, fine lines, very dry and/or dull skin. Clients with inflamed acne should not attempt this procedure. Exfoliation with Dermaplaning does not make the peach fuzz grow back darker. There is no downtime with this procedure.
As products penetrate more readily into the deeper layers of the skin surface post exfoliation, consider adding a pepti-nano mask to your Dermaplaning treatment to increase moisture and hydration to your complexion.
